This multifaceted position requires a seasoned professional who can seamlessly navigate the intersection of technology, leadership, group projects and global collaboration.The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the Group IS Director, setting the tone for our technological trajectory, ensuring that our information systems are not just cutting-edge but pivotal drivers of business success.You will be managing the IS Leadership Team whose responsibility is to drive Operational Teams made of 350 people based in 3 locations in Europe (Marly-FR, Amsterdam-NL and Gdansk-PL).You will be also in charge to animate a community of local IT Directors (reporting to the local Managing Directors) and manage in an optimise way a multimillion budget.The Group IS Director plays a critical role in delivering/supporting strategic projects, integration synergies and any M&A assessment/onboarding. YOUR MISSIONS: 1. Technical Visionary: Craft and execute a forward-looking technology strategy that positions the organization at the forefront of innovation and efficiency.Leverage your deep understanding of emerging technologies to keep propeling the company into new realms of competitiveness and sustainability.Oversee the implementation of state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, ensuring it is not just robust and scalable, but a strategic asset aligned with global business goals.Collaborate with fellow executives to integrate technology seamlessly into our business processes, leveraging it as a catalyst for innovation.Enable the smooth delivery of our strategic agenda, including completing the ongoing synergies delivery after the acquisition by Lyreco of part of the Staples European operations. 2. Leadership of Global Technology Teams: Oversee the management of IT resources with a strong eye on optimizing budgets and aligning with the strategic objectives of the organization.Drive cultural integration across our different IT locationsCultivate cross-functional collaboration within the IT department and across business units, ensuring a harmonious synergy between technology and business.Provide visionary leadership to a multinational team of IT professionals, cultivating a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.Devise and execute talent strategies to attract, develop, and retain the best minds in the industry 3. Support and align the Business: Collaborate with the business to ensure the Group is answering to the technology and process needs of the 25 countries.Develop and implement strategies to harmonize technology solutions across diverse cultural and regulatory landscapes.Act as a liaison between the central IT team and business stakeholders at Group and in the countries, ensuring that technology initiatives seamlessly align with business objectives and contribute to overall organizational success.Foster a global mindset within the IT function, recognizing and capitalizing on the diverse perspectives that contribute to our technological innovation.Qualifications:Proven experience on an IT senior leadership role overseeing large-scale IT operations.Strong technical acumen with a track record of implementing and managing complex technology solutions. (SAP, eCommerce, Workday, Logistics automation solutions such as WMS, Advanced Planning Systems etc)Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire large and international teams (+300 FTE, across multiple countries)Proven experience in aligning technology strategies with business goals and driving innovation.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.Fluent in English and French.Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
