Location: Munich, Germany Job Description: As a Project Developer, you will play a key role in the project development team. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and evaluating potential renewable energy projects, with a particular focus on solar energy and battery storage. You will be supported by experts in negotiating contracts, securing grid connections, and obtaining building permits. Responsibilities: Identify new locations suitable for renewable energy systems (solar/battery storage). Engage with relevant stakeholders at prospective locations within your region. Build relationships with real estate agents and community representatives. Negotiate and finalize letters of intent with property owners or their representatives. Collaborate with technical colleagues on grid connection applications and analyses, and manage the process. Develop business concepts for potential and confirmed projects and present them for management approval at key milestones. Lead the legal process for securing option and lease agreements. Support colleagues through the planning stages, from building permits to project completion. Track project progress, identify risks, and maintain documentation. Prepare detailed analyses and reports for management. Oversee project budgets and drive development through completion. Requirements: Experience or strong interest in project development and planning of renewable energy installations. A degree in renewable energy, environmental protection, energy technology, or a related field is preferred, but relevant technical training will also be considered. Willingness to travel within your region. Strong communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships. Familiarity with the regional market, and confidence in engaging with municipalities and property owners. Professional experience in renewable energy is a plus. Proficiency with MS Office.
