You will become a key collaborator, playing a decisive role in executing the missions entrusted to team members.WHAT THE ROLE OFFERSDrafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements including cloud, license, and professional service contracts across a wide range of software offeringsProviding dedicated legal support to sales teams based in Southern Europe (areas of support include France, Spain, Italy, and Portugal), helping them to close deals in a quarter-driven environmentThinking on your feet to work with the business to solve issues as they ariseWorking as part of the global legal team on initiatives to improve legal provision across OTBuilding positive working relationships with stakeholders across the business to enable you to obtain up-to-date information and provide excellent solutions to negotiation issuesWorking towards a deeper knowledge of our business and how best to support itHandling general corporate matters; resolving commercial disputes and dealing with data protection considerationsNot to mention the fact that carrying out the above assignments will enable you to develop your knowledge and expertise in all these fieldsWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDWe are looking for a full-time lawyer. You might be moving from private practice or already in-house and should have at least 5 years post post-qualified experienceYou are commercially minded, keen to learn about the business, and embed yourself as a key part of itYou are enthusiastic, hard-working and you enjoy working in a team environmentYou can manage your caseload and be confident and assertive but flexible and professionalYou are a problem solver and use/able to provide commercially focused advice in a time-pressured environmentFluent French and English language skills, both written and spoken in combination with a clear communication styleWe kindly ask you to apply in English.OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
