CT Technologist - CAT Scan Technologist

Salary: Competitive Hourly Rate, comprehensive benefits package, Sign On(Computed Tomography - Computed Axial Tomography- Radiology)An excellent client located in the Lehigh Valley & Bucks County PA areas is actively seeking to add dedicated and skilled CT technologists to the group in a full-time permanent staff capacity, to operate CT scanning equipment and capture diagnostic images that are of good technical quality. Opportunities also exist for MRI & X-Ray!!!****Multiple Shifts & hours available (Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights). Highly competitive compensation, sign on bonus, PTO, Comprehensive Medical Benefits, shift differential (where applicable), retirement plan with company match and more!!!****Responsibilities (include but not limited to the following):Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients’ internal organs and tissues.monitor patients throughout the scanning procedure to identify and respond to any allergic reactions to the contrast agents.Appropriately positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.Taking inventory of radiologic supplies, ensuring that the radiologic equipment is in good working order, and adhering to established guidelines on hygiene and infection control. Correctly interpreting doctors' written scanning instructions.Administering radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required.Requirements:Bachelor’s or associate degree in radiologic technology.(ARRT) Certified by the American Registry of radiologic technologists Proven experience working as a CT technologist.CPR and/or BLS certification.Ability to effectively communicate with patients while demonstrating compassion and patience.Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.The ability to stand for extended periods.Strong technical skills.Excellent problem-solving skills.Please send a current resume with contact information included, along with your availability to discuss this role in more detail to [email protected] ***All communications are 100% confidential and your information will not be presented anywhere prior to our discussion so as not to jeopardize your current employment. *** #J-18808-Ljbffr
