Join the Driveco Executive team - you will be directly reporting to the CEO.
In charge of the legal department, you are responsible for all legal issues related to the activities of DRIVECO, including the structuring of commercial contracts, general terms and conditions, partnerships (commercial / suppliers / subcontractors), third-party investment offers, operational contracts (EPC, O&M, purchasing of supplies and services, asset management), and issues related to contract management and governance. You will also be the point of reference for interactions with DRIVECO's legal advisors.
· Strategy: Lead the corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company's matters. Provide expert and strategic legal advice to the board of directors and executive management. Anticipate and identify legal issues and counsel the executives in order to develop legal strategies and solutions. Advise on legal aspects of the company’s financing, including assessing and advising on current and future business structures and legal entities.
· Management: Oversee the legal team. Oversee the delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish corporate goals, strategies, and priorities.
· Contracts: Drafting and negotiating contracts, particularly bylaws, shareholder agreements, partnerships, commercial agreements, confidentiality agreements, contracts related to the construction and operation of charging infrastructure, general terms and conditions, purchase contracts, manufacturing contracts, subcontracting agreements, intra-group agreements, etc.
· Real Estate: Drafting and negotiating promises of lease, emphyteutic/construction/commercial leases, routine lease transactions (renewals, amendments...), providing advice and assistance to operational staff.
· Corporate - Finance, M&A: Managing the corporate affairs of the group, internal restructuring operations, external growth, fundraising, general assemblies
· Litigation: Managing commercial, employment, and other disputes within the organization, overseeing lawyers.
· Miscellaneous: Insurance, taxation, compliance, data protection law, commercial intellectual property law, and competition law.

Hard Skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- At least 10 years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate setting, with a strong preference for background in energy or technology sectors , or environmental law.
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to develop legal strategy and objectives.
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
- Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously and under deadlines.
- Mastery of IT tools : Microsoft Office, Notion, Miro, Slack, etc.
Preferred Qualification
- Experience in corporate governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC).
- Prior experience in a leadership role within a rapidly growing company in the technology or energy sector.
- Knowledge of intellectual property law, contracts, and litigation.
