Senior UX/UI designer with strong frontend development skills

What is my challenge ? Cycloid is on the lookout for an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer with strong frontend development skills to elevate our platform. Operating in a fully remote environment, we welcome from anywhere in Europe candidates who are passionate about shaping exceptional user experiences. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Thomas, our lead designer, along with talented people from product, frontend, backend, and DevOps teams.We believe in designers who can code, recognizing the power of translating creative visions into tangible, interactive experiences. This skill set not only fosters a deeper understanding of the development process but also empowers designers to bring their ideas to life efficiently. What should I bring to the table? ResponsibilitiesCraft new product features, from ideas to prototypes to high quality mockups.Collaborate with people from technical teams, including frontend, backend, and devOps, to establish feature requirements and validate design proposals.Bring your designs to life by implementing and coding them yourself, or working closely with frontend developers to translate design vision into high-quality Vue.js code.Participate in design critiques and contribute to a collaborative and innovative design culture.Ship iteratively to enhance the product based on user needsRequirementsA passion for creating user-centric and intuitive designs with a portfolio showcasing a range of design projects (5+ years experience).Able to write high-quality code (HTML, CSS and basic javascript). We value your ability to implement visual changes by yourself (3+ years experience).Experience working with Figma.Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software developers, and excellent communication skills.Professional/native English speaker.Nice to havePrevious experience designing in a product or SaaS company.Proficient in Vue.js or other javascript frameworks.Familiar with topics such as devOps, cloud, platform engineering, finOps, greenOps.French speaker.
