PhD Fellowship in Biology: A fully funded 3-year PhD fellowship is available at the Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle de Lyon, France, to investigate the gene regulatory networks (GRNs) involved in leg development and regeneration in the crustacean model Parhyale hawaiensis. The project will include:Experimental work: Generating scRNAseq and scATACseq data from developing and regenerating legsComputational work: Processing data to reconstruct and compare GRNsTransgenesis: Validating key GRN nodes in vivoWork Environment: The student will join the Development, Regeneration, and Evolution team at the Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle de Lyon, located at the campus of the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon in the south of Lyon, France. The research team operates in English, providing an international and stimulating environment. The student will be enrolled as a PhD student at the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon and will be co-supervised by Mathilde Paris and Michalis Averof.
