Structure Engineer

As part of its recruitment activities for highly qualified profiles, d2m Services is looking for a Hull Structure Engineer. Our client is a ship design and marine engineering company specialising in services to new buildings and retrofit of vessels and offshore floating platforms for oil and gas and MRE industries. You are responsible of the delivery of hull structural design and calculations according to Class Rules and Client specifications You supervise all activities conducted by project designers and draftsmen (hull construction drawings) and ensure high level of technical quality. Basic Design FPSO hull, Methanol retrofit, Carbon Capture retrofit, Floating Wind asset Permanent contract Location : Toulon region You hold a Master's degree in marine engineering and justify a first experience of 3-5 years at least on an equivalent position. You have some knowledge in offshore structures and naval architecture with speciality in structural analysis of global and detailed hull structures (with FEMAP Software and Class software VeriStar Hull). Knowledge of CLASS Rules (ABS, BV, DNV), IMO and international standards is necessary. Fluent in standard and technical English is requested.
