If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match. As training within the advanced engineering projects group, you will be working together with anambitious local and global manufacturing engineering department which is full of energy.Your role will be to manage projects and doing communication about the future technology that you willbe developing including activities such as:Lead a multidisciplinary team to implement an intelligent data exploitation system for assemblydata using machine learning modelsSupport the Volvo Vision System tool by developing computer vision algorithms.Support the factory in this technological transition (communication, training, demonstrations,etc.)Define and implement the process for using and maintaining these new technologiesAssist integration of this new technology within the group (worldwide)You will be also working with the future of the IT platform and developing completely new concept tofully link the new technologies to the new industrial systems.Who are you?You are motivated to work for the technology development, process improvement, projectcommunication and work with the future. This training within the advanced engineering organization willgive you a lot of possibilities, such as working and potentially travelling to different countries like Sweden,Brazil, United states with different cultures and adapt your way of communicating.Curious: Because you will work with futures technologies, you will have to know more about items andbe interested in new subjects.Open minded: Due to all the culture involved, you will need to be able to listen and judge a situationand change your way of thinking depending on the situation.Innovative and does not give up: Due to the new technology and all the stakeholders your will needto communicate and continue the work and pushing into the direction that is the most suitable.Proficiency in the English language is mandatory.What’s in it for you?Training: You will be trained to the manufacturing engineering role and responsibilities.Experience: You will work with different roles within the Volvo Group such as specific area experts andproject managers which means you will gather information and learn the job of an engineer.
