About the position

We are seeking a Global Head of Trade Marketing for INITIO Parfums Privés, based in Paris.

Reporting to the Global Brand Director, this role requires the effective and efficient implementation of marketing strategies and 360-degree marketing plans across all regions, including the US, Europe, GCC/Asia, and Travel Retail.

The successful candidate will act as a key marketing partner for each market, ensuring luxury execution in line with our niche brand image. This role serves as a pivotal interface between the salesforce, partners, suppliers, and internal departments (Brand, Operations, Finance, Digital, PR, Retail).

Additionally, the Global Head of Trade Marketing will directly manage a team of two Regional Trade Marketing Managers for Europe (based in Paris) and GCC/Asia (based in Dubai), while also overseeing and collaborating closely with the local US team.

Key responsibilities

Internal Communication and Coordination (from Global to Regions and from Regions to Global)

  • Serve as a key support, ensuring seamless communication between Global Departments (Marketing, Supply/Logistics, Retail, Digital, PR) and Regions (Sales/Marketing).
  • Share and evangelize the Marketing Strategy/Vision, business priorities, Marketing Plans, and Brand Guidelines.
  • Communicate product availabilities, brand updates, and prices.
  • Follow and manage the forecasting process with Regions.
  • Collect market feedback and share insights/best practices with Global.
  • Develop templates to facilitate local reporting and consolidate global reporting.
  • Participate in establishing new processes to improve communication.

Brand Management & Trade Animations

  • Act as the guardian of the brand image and ensure luxury execution in all regions, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ensure that brand guidelines are respected and perfectly deployed with partners and key retailers.
  • Develop, plan, and execute the 360 marketing plan (online and offline).
  • Serve as the key contact for countries in deploying animations and supervise local implementations.
  • Create reports after each activation to monitor performance with quantitative KPIs and qualitative feedback.
  • Monitor market practices through regular visits.
  • Conduct training and develop trade tools for beauty advisors.

PR and Events

  • Work closely with local Trade Managers on event organization and seedings (concept, target, location, date, coverage, setup, execution), ensuring adherence to global brand guidelines.
  • Follow up on monthly coverage reports (magazine, press, influencers).

Budget & Management/Leadership responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the preparation of key budget meetings.
  • Contribute to budget monitoring and consolidation.
  • Motivate and federate direct team members and transversal teams.

Desired Background and Required Profile:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in Marketing and Trade Positions in the Beauty/Fragrance/Luxury industry, with a strong knowledge of the US Market.
  • Strong understanding of strategic marketing, retail excellence, and sales.
  • Collaborative leadership style, able to work with different teams and markets.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, results-driven with a good understanding of retail excellence and client experience.
  • Agile, proactive, able to come up with solutions and solve problems in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Language Skills: English and French are mandatory.
