Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategy for creating multimodal AI models that set new industry standards.
• Build and lead a team of AI experts, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of AI models into market-driven solutions.
• Represent Tether Operations Limited in the AI community, sharing our work and learning through open contributions, speaking engagements, and publications.

Requirements:

• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, complemented by a strong track record in AI R&D.
• Experience building large language models from scratch, including writing model code, gathering training data, and optimizing training and inference.
• Strong expertise in NLP, computer vision, and multimodal learning, with proficiency in TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, and CUDA toolkit.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse, high-performing teams, with an emphasis on mentorship and collaborative success.
• Advanced knowledge of distributed and high-performance computing systems.
• Excellent programming skills in Python, C++, JavaScript, or similar.
