Network Engineer

Network Engineer (Travel Included) Temporary Contract Running For 6 Months (Possible Extension)Locations: Paris, Barcelona, Zurich, Verona, Cologne or MunichUp to $50 per hour. **Must be willing to travel around Europe** Pyramid Recruitment are looking for a talented Network Engineer to join our client, a global scale consultancy firm, on some exciting projects in Europe within the insurance domain. This role is suitable for candidates that enjoy travel. The role provides an exciting opportunity to travel between various client offices in Europe (funded by the client) including France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain, and Switzerland. You can expect to travel once or twice monthly which can be up to one to two weeks in duration. You must hold your CCNP certification to apply for this role. Role Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure.Provide 3rd-level support for LAN/WAN issues and troubleshooting.Manage network monitoring, reporting systems, and documentation.Configure and install routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other network devices.Perform network maintenance, upgrades, and security configurations.Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.Implement security tools and procedures in collaboration with the security team.Ensure change management compliance and coordinate with vendors for issue resolution.Participate in on-call support for non-business hours.Qualifications:5-8 years of network experience, CCNP certified.Strong skills in troubleshooting network issues (LAN/WAN, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, etc.).Hands-on experience with Cisco Firepower, Silver Peak SDWAN, and Cisco ISE.Familiarity with Next-Gen Firewalls, Cisco ASA, IPS, and wireless technologies (Cisco WLC).Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data centre environments (Nexus, ACI).Excellent communication, documentation, and customer interaction skills.Experience with AzureEducation Requirements:CCNP Certification Required.BA or BS Degree Required.Sound interesting?
