Turner Lovell is recruiting for one of its clients, a global leader in power conversion and energy electrification. As an automation and process control engineer, you will work on cutting-edge projects in the industry, particularly in the metallurgy sector, where you will have the opportunity to develop control systems integrating advanced technologies.
Your missions
- Design automation architectures (PLCs, networks, communication interfaces) tailored to specific industrial needs
- Develop and program applications for control systems to optimize the performance of industrial processes, especially in metallurgy
- Collaborate with the design office to prepare equipment drawings, wiring diagrams, interconnection diagrams, and interface lists
- Ensure technical interface with clients, suppliers, and certification bodies
- Organize and conduct factory tests on automation systems and measurement campaigns on client sites
- Provide technical support to Sales, Commissioning, and After-Sales departments
Qualifications required
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Computing, with experience in automation
- Skills in PLC programming and control systems, ideally in the metallurgy sector
- Knowledge of mechanics, process control, and IT networks
- Ideally one experience in PID / Control Loop in industrial projects
- Fluency in French and proficiency in English (level B2), with availability for frequent travel in France and abroad
