This is a brief summary of the job description and requirements:• As a Bio and Pathology Imaging Application Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and applying innovative bioimaging techniques and solutions for various biomedical and industrial applications, such as cancer diagnosis, drug discovery, food quality analysis, etc.• You will work closely with customers, collaborators, and internal teams to understand their needs and challenges, design and perform bioimaging experiments, analyze and interpret data, and provide technical support and training.• You will also contribute to the development and improvement of bioimaging products and services, such as software, hardware, and reagents, by providing feedback and suggestions based on your expertise and experience.• You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge bioimaging technologies and platforms, such as optical, magnetic resonance, and isotopic imaging, as well as artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms for image analysis and processing.• To qualify for this position, you should have a PhD degree in biomedical engineering, medical physics, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant research or industry experience in bioimaging.• You should also have strong knowledge and skills in bioimaging principles, methods, and applications, as well as data analysis and visualization tools.• You should be a team player, a problem solver, and a self-motivated learner, with excellent communication and presentation skills. My name is Bastien, I am PhD in biophysics, from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENS de Lyon; Lyon, France).Following a successful postdoctoral project in spatial genomics, where I developed an unbiased method for single-particle tracking of fluorescent probes in living cell nuclei using confocal microscopy, I have ventured into freelance work as a data/image scientist. With over 6 years of experience, I have a proven track record in developing advanced optical microscopy techniques, fluorescent microscopy, micro- and nano-fluidics, biophysical modeling, and genomics. My proficiency in Python/Matlab allows me to create innovative image analysis pipelines and methods. Recently, I created a fully automated all-in-one Python program for a client, which analyzes thrombosis dynamics by combining an updating template matching algorithm, auto-detection of rotation, and power spectrum analysis. Additionally, I developed a Python program for another project, implementing a Bayesian framework for single-particle trajectory analysis.I am deeply passionate about tackling complex technical problems and finding effective solutions. My strength lies in combining wet-lab skills with analytical methods to accurately model intricate biological systems. It would be my pleasure to engage in a thorough discussion regarding your activities and specific requirements at Life Analytics. Furthermore, I am keen on exploring how my image analysis services can contribute to the attainment of your technical objectives.Sincerely yours,Bastien Molcrette, PhDCEO and Founder of SymbiophysicsScientific consulting for R&D Biotech projects #J-18808-Ljbffr
