We're looking for talented, ambitious, and entrepreneurial team members who are excited to tackle these challenges.As a backend engineer, you will:Architect optimal solutions to our business problemsDeploy exciting new featuresHelp us scale to tens of millions of customers & connected devicesBuild quality tools and frameworks to ensure a high-quality productBuild systems to ensure continuous uptimeThe role is based out of Europe/UK.What we're looking for:Extensive experience (8+ years) of building enterprise-ready platforms for handling high transactional volumes of customer requests and supporting it into production.Strong knowledge of Java 8 (onwards), Spring Boot, and Spring CloudStrong knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL conceptsHands-on API design experienceHands-on microservices and architecture experience using Spring boot, RabbitMQ, Docker, and KubernetesHands-on experience on event sourcing and CQRSSelf-starter and strong, quick problem-solving skillsExperience with scale and high-traffic applicationsExperience with different nonfunctional conformance aspects like security, reliability, and high availabilityBonus Points:Experience with Google Cloud and Google services like GKE, Apache Data flow, Cloud functions, Pub-Sub, etc.Experience with other JVM languages like Kotlin and Scala.
