The Position

By concentrating on healthcare’s toughest challenges, we’ve been able to make many major breakthroughs, improving lives around the world. But there’s still work to be done.

As Talent Acquisition Partner (d/f/m), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring we are hiring the best talent to meet our business ambitions. Make Your Mark. Improve Lives.

We have a fantastic and challenging opportunity to fully combine your recruiting and consulting skills to seek, attract and bring in the very best talent into Roche, focusing on the significant demand for talent within our Roche Europe region, now and in the future.

As Talent Acquisition Partner (d/f/m), you will be part of the Roche EMEA Recruiting team, a group of highly skilled professionals in our Integrated Workforce Strategies organization.

The geographic focus will be France, however you will also be collaborating closely within the Region EMEA, and also within our global network.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Be a professional & consultative partner for our business leaders regarding all talent acquisition aspects.
  • Expertly drive end-to-end recruiting processes and provide customized talent acquisition strategies and solutions, including active candidate sourcing & pipelining, talent marketing, talent selection, candidate experience, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
  • Manage the offer process with all necessary stakeholders (create an offer proposal in accordance with our Roche compensation & benefits framework and pay equity considerations, obtain approvals, extend offers, and negotiate with the candidate if required).
  • Closely collaborate with other People & Culture colleagues in France, particularly the Business Partners to have insight about the current and the coming business priorities and plan future recruitment needs, the People Relations Partners and the Rewards & Benefits Partners.
  • May lead recruitment transformation projects across functions/countries.

Who you are:

  • To be successful in this role, you have extensive knowledge and experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner with proven success for example as a recruiter or headhunter. Alternatively you are working in the Life Science/Tech industry and have a strong passion for People & Culture, particularly for Talent Acquisition.
  • You have expertise in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders on all hierarchical levels, both within our business organizations as well as within the People & Culture team. You are well-versed in talent attraction, sourcing, and assessing. In addition, you have excellent coaching and advising skills, and thus are a trusted partner to your business clients and enable them in their hiring decisions.
  • First class communication and interpersonal skills are a must as you network and build long term relationships with both internal and external individuals, often at a very senior level. You have high influencing skills and are an excellent negotiator. Ability to work effectively within international and cross-divisional teams is one of your assets. You thrive in a dynamic, self-organized environment, love taking on new challenges, and drive innovation.
  • Work experience in a multinational matrix organization is an asset.
  • Dexterity to participate or lead recruiting squads across regions or globally.
  • Diligent user and expert of applicant tracking and sourcing tools such as Workday, Phenom People, LinkedIn.
  • Business fluent English and French language skills are required; additional European language skills (e.g. Hebrew, Spanish, Italian) are an extra advantage.

The position will be based in France at our Paris office as a primary location. Our Meylan/Grenoble location can be an alternative option. Willingness to work onsite in the office for 3 days/week and to be present at the site when needed for business meetings is expected. There will also be occasional business trips to the other Roche France business location. Because of our highly virtual way of working, the need for business travels will be very low.
