Site Reliability Engineer

Synopsys is looking for a motivated individual to work in our Silicon Lifecycle Analytics Operations team. As Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will play a key role in designing and developing programmatic infrastructure and automation to build, maintain and improve the Synopsys Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) solutions.Responsibilities:Design, deploy and maintain public cloud and private infrastructure to support Synopsys SaaS offeringsAutomate - as much as possible - all technical operationsSet up monitoring, logging and tracing tools to detect and fix any potential issuesTroubleshoot cloud/on-premise infrastructure, systems, network and application stacksSkills and Qualifications:BS in Computer Science/Information Technology. MS is preferredTypically requires 2+ years of experience in software engineering, operations engineering or similar disciplineGood communication skills, ability to interact with cross-functional teamsProficiency in EnglishTechnical background:Solid knowledge in Kubernetes, DockerSignificant experience with infrastructure as code tools (Kustomize, Kubespray, Terraform, Ansible...)Experience with GitOps tools (Flux or ArgoCD)Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)Experience with Linux operating systemsKnowledge of one or more languages (Python, Go, Perl, Java...)Experience building scalable infrastructure in one public cloud provider is a distinct advantageKnowledge in Jenkins or similar tool for CI/CD is an advantageAbout SynopsysAt Synopsys, we’re at the heart of the innovations that change the way we work and play.
