You will join the challenging Ledger Connectivity Team. Today, Ledger Live has the best in class Blockchain integration coverage in the industry thanks to the work of this team. But we are not satisfied yet and want to take it even further. As a Junior Software Engineer on our Connectivity Team, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and help shape the future of blockchain technology. The mission Contribute to the Connectivity Team: Assist in developing and maintaining the interactivity tools between Ledger and the ecosystem, including Wallet Connect integrations, Dapp integrations into Ledger Live, and our Wallet API. Develop Your JavaScript Skills: Utilize and enhance your knowledge in the JavaScript ecosystem, working with technologies like TypeScript, Node.js, and React. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to improve our connectivity architecture and contribute to a functional programming approach for a clean, maintainable, and efficient codebase. Learn and Grow in Blockchain Technology: Build your understanding of blockchain technologies with opportunities for future roles in our Blockchain Integration Team. What we're looking for Passion for Coding: Enthusiasm for programming and a strong desire to learn and grow within the JavaScript ecosystem. Basic Knowledge of JavaScript Technologies: Some experience or familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, and React through projects, coursework, or internships. Eagerness to Learn Functional Programming: Interest in learning functional programming concepts and modern design patterns. Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Understanding of Agile Methodologies: Basic knowledge of agile working environments and CI/CD processes is a plus. Bonus points Interest in Web3 and Blockchain: Any exposure to blockchain concepts, Dapps development, or familiarity with Web3 integration libraries like Ethers.js and Wagmi. Open-Source Contributions: Participation in open-source projects or coding communities. Knowledge of Blockchain Standards: A general understanding of blockchain architecture and standards such as EVM, Cosmos, Polkadot, or Bitcoin. What's in it for you?
