Job Opportunity: Programme ManagerSalary: €87,748 to €108,276 tax-free + BenefitsContract: Two year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewalTo shape the future of investment across the EU, we need you.Do you have sound experience of drafting terms of reference and managing technical assistance for key projects? Are you familiar with EU investment projects and working with the European Commission? Are you an effective programme manager? Then you can play an important part in supporting a unique development bank’s status as an Advisory Partner under the InvestEU Fund as you help us identify, prepare and develop initiatives across the European Union.Bringing together 43 member countries, the CEB finances and responds to emergency situations and actively enhances the living conditions of the most disadvantaged groups. Strengthening social cohesion and building thriving communities in Europe, we drive inclusive growth, bolster economic sustainability – and create exceptional careers.In this crucial position, you will process advisory requests received from colleagues, potential borrowers and beneficiaries, plus the InvestEU Advisory Hub itself. We will look to you to prepare information packages to support decision-making, draft terms of reference and contract documentation, and oversee the procurement of consultants, whilst monitoring and benchmarking progress. In particular, you will service high-level steering, technical and project coordination meetings via a steady supply of high quality intelligence, so you will play an important part in our future relationship with the EU.To join us, you should bring:A postgraduate-level qualification in social sciences, economics, business administration or a related field.Excellent drafting skills and meticulous attention to detail.Outstanding interpersonal and organisational abilities.Full fluency in English, backed by some command of French.A good understanding of development banking, grant co-financing and technical assistance would be useful.Finally, experience in an international organisation and/or exposure to an EU institution would also be an advantage.Applications should be made in English or French using the Council of Europe Development Bank online application system at https://ceb.profils.org before the deadline of 21 October 2024, midnight Paris time.
