We are on the lookout for a System Administrator to join our team for working with European Institutions based in Valenciennes in an on-site position. That's where you come in – we need you to help us scale new heights. For this position, you will be working with our client from the European institutions. Your Role Administer the ERA AWS Global Landing Zone, its components, and the workloads deployed on it, to meet service requirements. Install, configure, maintain, operate, and upgrade the different components conforming the ERA AWS Global Landing Zone and the workloads deployed on it. Keep the solution in operation, according to the service level agreements. Contribute to the solution of incidents in the platform and to the maintenance of the incidents database, including the knowledge base. Investigate, diagnose, and solve problems affecting the solution. Test the upgrades or other changes planned for deployment or deployed on the solution. Plan and schedule the implementation of changes to the solution, ensuring minimum disruption. Diagnose and solve problems with the different components of the solution. Comply with the Agency procedures to ensure integrity and security of the solution. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and engagement, within the different teams in OPD Unit and with other entities (internal or external) as necessary. Cooperate with the DevOps Experts to automate the management, maintenance, and operation of the solution, ensuring its availability. Who We Think You Are Minimum 4 years of IT professional experience (overall covering all the "Tasks and Responsibilities" above). Minimum 2 years of IT professional experience with the AWS SysOps Administrator Associate profile. AWS SysOps Administrator Associate certification. Expert knowledge of AWS services and tools. Good knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework. Expert knowledge of AWS Management console and AWS CLI. Expert knowledge of networking concepts on AWS and the Internet. Expert knowledge on implementing architectural requirements (e.g., high availability, performance, capacity). Expert knowledge on implementing resilience requirements (e.g., business continuity and disaster recovery). Expert knowledge on management (identification, classification, and remediation) of AWS-related incidents. Expert knowledge on management (root cause analysis and solution proposal) of AWS-related problems. Good knowledge in security AWS infrastructure. Experience in building highly automated infrastructure on AWS. Experience in administering operating systems, in particular Linux and Windows Server, in a professional environment. Experience with modern development and operations processes and methodologies. Knowledge of microservices based architectures. Knowledge of serverless technologies and their implementation on AWS (Lambda, ECS, EKS). AWS DevOps Engineer Professional certification will be considered an advantage. AWS Security Specialty certification will be considered an advantage. AWS Advanced Networking Specialty certification will be considered an advantage. Knowledge of semantic, ontologies and linked data technologies will be advantageous. Knowledge of Knowledge Graph Databases (i.e., Virtuoso) will be advantageous. What’s in it for you?
