Role Summary The Project Management team is responsible for delivering paid-for projects to a high standard, ensuring that GTT recognizes the associated revenue in a reliable and predictable manner and that the client experience is excellent, leading to those clients acting as references regarding the ability for GTT to deliver on its promises. The Project Management team works closely with the sales divisions to jointly develop and support viable plans for delivering connectivity solutions to Enterprise customers. This Project Management team is part of the GTT Professional Service offering and is funded by the client, so it needs to also sell its own value to the client and ensure it has a positive input into the company cash flow and balance sheet. The Senior Lead Project Manager is to demonstrate the GTT employee values and will be a focal point for activities with our sales colleagues and is responsible for delivering the company values in alignment with the points above. Main Responsibilities The Senior Lead Project Manager is responsible for ensuring commitments made during the sales engagement process are delivered by the EU and US Service Delivery and wider teams. He/She will work for the Director of Project Management, Europe. The Senior Lead Project Manager will work closely with the Project Management team, the Service Delivery Teams, the Pre-Sales Support team, regional Sales Teams, and regional Operational teams including other Professional services teams to ensure that all aspects of client experience are aligned and that delivery resources are deployed in alignment with the promises made to the client. Key responsibilities will be: Deliver Complex Projects assigned to the Senior Lead Project Manager to the high levels of client satisfaction and financial acumen expected of the GTT delivery teams. Deliver strategically important projects or Complex Projects as requested by the Director Project Management, Europe. These may be small in scale but have importance to GTT that overshadows their size. Oversee the quality and client satisfaction of Complex Projects assigned to other project managers, ensuring that the relevant documentation, risk management, and planning are applied to these Complex Projects. Assure compliance with Quality Gates Principles as per the GTT PM Methodology. Manage a virtual team of Project Managers assigned to support the Senior Lead Project Manager on these responsibilities. Weekly reporting on the RAG status of Complex Projects in Europe. Other reporting areas may be added or removed as agreed with the Director Project Management, Europe. Stakeholder management on a tactical level within GTT and with customers and suppliers, providing input/reporting for the strategic level. Business travel to participate in customer meetings and flexibility of working hours. Build and manage European Service Delivery collateral that demonstrates the GTT approach to Complex Projects Management that can be deployed to support the sales team with potential customers and by others to manage the delivery of Complex Projects. Minimize GTT’s commercial and legal risk and exposure on all Complex Projects during the delivery phase. Align with the Directors, Project Management, to support alignment of the Global GTT PM community operating the same process and systems and providing the same client experience, independent of client location. Support this by managing and making available the relevant Lessons Learned for the different GTT Products or Services. Ensure that any bespoke delivery requirements that are agreed and approved during the sales process are delivered by the Complex Projects and the relevant party in the European Service Delivery team. If these represent significant risk to GTT, document this risk before it becomes an issue, and present it to the Director Project Management, Europe. Work with the sales community to provide support to explain and plan project rollout and all service delivery elements in the pre-sales phase. Candidate Experience: Evidence of ability to manage C-suite interactions with Clients, Vendors, Partners, and internal GTT departments. A strong understanding of ICT or networking principles. In exceptional circumstances, provide support as executive contact and Project Sponsor for high-value GTT projects. Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills in English and preferably another relevant European language. Excellent matrix management and ability to build strong cross-departmental relationships. Proven ability to manage projects from business case through to implementation. Understanding of additional technology such as hosting, voice, or security. Qualifications/Courses: A Bachelor’s degree, or higher, or significant experience from a telecoms background. ITIL qualifications highly desirable. Prince II practitioner or equivalent Project Management qualification (PMI, etc). #J-18808-Ljbffr
