About the Role:
The Attorney Support Specialist H/F is an integral part of Latham’s Attorney Support team. You will be responsible for directly assisting an assigned group of local attorneys in addition to providing global team support with a variety of administrative responsibilities. This role will be located in our Paris office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Other key responsibilities include:
Working in a global team environment with a real-time work ticketing system (ServiceNow)
Daily time entry, expense reimbursement, calendaring and scheduling, managing/editing documents, and travel arrangements
Proactively learning internal systems and processes to find innovative solutions to problems and requests
Preserving the confidentiality of ours and our clients’ protected information
Generating, editing, and posting client invoices
We’d love to hear from you if you:
Display excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English, with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, vendors, and staff throughout the firm
Take initiative to work both independently and in a team environment with a customer service focus
Can multi-task and adapt to continuously evolving technology platforms
And have:
Relevant experience in a legal or professional services environment
Basic to intermediate proficiency level in Microsoft Excel, and intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Word and Outlook
A high school diploma or equivalent, and a Bachelor's degree, preferably
