Zama is an open source cryptography company building state-of-the-art Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) solutions for blockchain and AI.Zama was founded by Pascal Paillier, a pioneer in FHE, and Rand Hindi, a serial privacy entrepreneur.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated software engineer to join our confidential blockchain team, with a primary focus on developing and maintaining the services and components required to offer a reliable and secure solution. You’ll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with a team of esteemed engineers, and play a pivotal role in designing, fine-tuning, and ensuring the sustained excellence of Zama’s cryptographic solutions.Key Responsibilities:Work with engineers to design, implement, and maintain our fhEVM and related backend services.Design and implement strategies for integrating our fhEVM into relevant blockchain frameworks.Help maintain a high level of security, including conducting code reviews.Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchains.Work with DevOps to deploy our solution to production.Collaborate with and provide support to users.Preferred ExperienceBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.3 years of proven experience in software engineering role.Experience with Rust, Go, or C++.Willingness to learn about FHE and ZK.Preferred qualifications:At least 5 years of proven experience in software engineering roles.Solid understanding of blockchains and EVM frameworks.Experience with AWS.Understanding of software security principles.Recruitment ProcessStep 1: the application form.Step 2: the challenge.Step 3: the technical interview.Step 4: cultural fit and compensation chat with the COO.Zama values and promotes diversity.
