Its approach is based on fundamental analysis to assess a company's overall performance in relation to its stakeholders: shareholders, customers, employees, suppliers, civil society and the environment.Sycomore AM manages over 7.2 billion euros in assets through funds and mandates for institutional clients and financial partners.In 2023, Sycomore AM obtained its 5th HappyIndexAtWork accreditation, making it one of France's best small and medium-sized companies to work for.Job DescriptionSupport high conviction investment ideas generation in listed equities markets for the global environmental funds.Conduct in-depth analysis of global listed companies by performing fundamental analysis, ESG analysis, climate transition pathway analysis and company valuation.Update and monitor companies' financial and extra-financial models, research new ideas.Attend corporate meetings for investors and provide feedback to the team with relevant insights and accurate level of information to support investment decision process.Perform sector & theme research in relation to environmental opportunities and risk with a focus on climate transition pathways and environmental contribution of products and services.Build and implement screens to better monitor market trends, investible universe and portfolios.Support reporting and client service needs in relation to the environmental funds.QualificationsWe are looking for highly motivated individuals who have a strong interest in environmental challenges and listed equity markets, and are able to work in a global and demanding environment.You should feel comfortable researching companies and industries based on publicly available documentation: collect, analyze and model data and information according to our framework. Basic knowledge of company valuation and environmental science is helpful.You should be comfortable working autonomously, be curious, and demonstrate critical thinking.You must be able to articulate and communicate ideas, risks, and opportunities in a concise manner in English (French is a plus).You should resonate with the values of Sycomore AM: audacity, cohesion, and commitment.
