Within the Finance & Business Management Department, you will contribute to second-level accounting control. In this position, you will conduct both regular (accounts closing process) and ad hoc (thematic reviews) controls within the scope of Dexia/Dexia Holding and its subsidiaries and branches.You will ensure the quality and effectiveness of the accounting control environment and will make proposals to strengthen the processes and controls. You may also be required to conduct reviews or help to implement cross-departmental accounting controls.The primary objective of the person selected for the position will be to ensure correct and consistent application of the Dexia Group’s accounting principles and procedures. The main duties are to:Implement second-level accounting control in accordance with the control plan defined by the team manager: carry out tasks (controls based on sampling) to assess the quality of the accounting processes within the Dexia Holding and Dexia scope and, additionally, of its branches; control the consistency and coherence of accounting standards, entries and supporting control documents.Take part in leading the activities of the Accounting Control function jointly with the Accounting Department: maintain a risk mapping, manage the process to justify the financial statements and set a schedule of tasks based, notably, on the recommendations made by the internal and Statutory Auditors.Take part in cross-departmental themed missions: propose improvements to strengthen controls and the quality of accounting production as well as the documentation of the processes; propose and monitor the implementation of documented control processes for new projects (IFRS 9), outsourcing, repatriation, automation, etc.).ProfileDesired profile:Studies: you have a Master degree from a business or engineering school or the university equivalent specialising in Accounting/Audit.You have at least two years of experience acquired in accounting or internal or external accounting positions in the banking industry.You have solid banking accounting and audit skills.Candidates must have the following skills and knowledge:Good relationship skills, diplomacy;Rigorous, organised, and methodical;Interest in operations.French and English are used daily (English fluency and technical language skills are required).Reference2024-413 #J-18808-Ljbffr
