Innate Pharma S.A. is a global, clinical-stage oncology-focused biotech company dedicated to improving treatment and clinical outcomes for patients through therapeutic antibodies that harness the immune system to fight cancer.
Overall Objectives and Purpose of the role
In the Finance department, reporting to the Director of Accounting, Consolidation & Treasury Management, you will be responsible for various tasks relating to the production and review of the Group accounts (French parent company INNATE Pharma SAS, listed on the EURONEXT and NASDAQ markets, and its US subsidiary).
You will also be involved in the production and monitoring of the Company's financial publications, in a context of increased regulation given its dual listing on Euronext/Nasdaq (AMF/SEC).
As part of a team of 5 people and replacing a maternity leave, you will be responsible for the following main tasks:
Participating in determining the FR GAAP and IFRS accounting treatments for recurring and exceptional transactions (equity instruments, leases, financial instruments, collaboration agreements, etc.).
Participation in quarterly closing meetings: production and review of working papers prepared by the team (FRGAAP and IFRS).
Assistance in monitoring the external auditors' accounts and internal control review assignments (and related documentation) in a SOX/PCAOB environment.
Participation in the production and monitoring of the Company's financial publications for market regulators (AMF/SEC).
Main responsibilities and key tasks
Book-keeping
Ensuring compliance with SOX procedures, reviewing processes managed by the team.
Direct management of certain processes: treasury, provision, other critical processes.
Closing accounts and consolidation
Assistance with the quarterly production of IFRS restatements (transition from local standards to IFRS).
Assistance with quarterly group consolidation and related documents (cash flow statements, tax proofs and other internal or publishable items).
Direct responsibility for certain production and review processes in connection with the quarterly accounting closings (monitoring of equity instruments in conjunction with the Legal department, monitoring of consolidated cash flow, etc.).
Assisting with SOX controls in connection with the production of the group consolidation. Review of certain SOX controls in conjunction with Accounting Department production.
Assistance in the follow-up of the review mission by the auditors.
Production and monitoring of publishable financial publications
Assistance with the production, improvement and monitoring of annual and quarterly financial publications for market regulators (AMF/SEC): annual and half-yearly consolidated financial statements, annual parent company financial statements, quarterly press releases.
Interaction with the Legal and Investor Relations teams on the monitoring and production of publications. Active participation in the annual and half-yearly publication processes.
Assistance with the production of financial documentation relating to capital transactions or other exceptional events.
SAP Key user
Back-up for the Accounting Manager in setting up and running the ERP system.
Optimizing the use of the tool.
Experience and Qualifications
Experience as an accounting manager or in an audit firm (3/4 years).
Ideally, you will have experience in the Biotech/Pharma sector.
Knowledge of SAPbyD ERP.
Knowledge of the Wdesk tool.
Competencies, Skills and Behaviours
Technical Competencies
You will have production or review experience of group consolidation under IFRS.
Knowledge of ERP, ideally SAP Business ByDesign.
Knowledge of best practice in internal control.
Knowledge and command of the Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Must be able to read, speak and write French and English fluently.
