Market Product Manager

Job Description Summary: Seeking to hire an experienced Product Manager to spearhead and own all product initiatives in country, focusing on deep product expertise, product strategy and customer needs to translate business strategy into product strategy. Job Description: In this role you will work closely with the Global Markets team to define, build and roll out new customer-centric products and provide CPO support to the market leader. You will also work closely with the central product organization to define local market product and customer needs and ensure the execution of market-level fit of any new product coming to market. The role will report to the Director of EU Product. In your day to day role you will: Be the market product & customer expert through deep expertise on PayPal’s own products as well as competitor’s. Articulate local customer needs and problem statements to the central product organization to drive customer-centric product development. Define product requirements & strategy based on local market customer and technology insights. Translate business strategy into product strategy by partnering closely with the market leaders. Work with the international product manager to create local PRDs. Ensure product readiness from a local market perspective (Alpha & Beta tested). Ongoing product performance monitoring to ensure early detection and resolution of issues. Translate learnings into recommendations and present to global product leads. Collect customer voice and customer needs. What you need to bring: Self-starter and organized; strong communication skills. Simplify complex programs through a matrixed organization with a One Team mindset. Be a customer advocate. Think strategically – be able to pivot based on company and/or market context.
