This position will be part of a team tasked with defining how we incorporate real identity into the System of Agreement. This position will demand critical thinking skills and the ability to work in agile environments. The ability to take smart and educated risks is essential to the success of this position. Your background will show that it involves strategy, delivery, and implementation in past roles. A successful candidate will have the ability to work across different teams in a multicultural environment. This role in particular will be on the forefront of our global expansion efforts as the team is focused on helping DocuSign open in new markets! This position is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Director, Engineering.ResponsibilityArchitect and design componentsSolve problems at scale and build fault tolerant systemsDevelop high-quality, ship-ready code that is covered by a full test suiteEnsure design and architecture are extensible across multiple projects and conduct technical-design reviewsBe responsible for sharing and adopting the best performance and availability practices for one or more functional areaDesign and develop user interfaces and core functionalities to allow internal and third-party developers to integrate applications with DocuSign more easilyWork with Product Management, Designer, UX Research and other developers to understand and convert marketing requirements into design requirements and provide estimates for developmentWork closely with quality engineers to identify test cases and devise efficient, scalable testing processesStay updated with the latest development trends and share your findings with the teamWork as part of a cross-country development team to drive design, implementation, testing and release of productsJob DesignationHybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.What you bringBasicBachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Informatics or equivalentExtensive development experience as a Software Engineer or equivalent positionExperience with server site development, preferably in .NET/C#Experienced building/consuming RESTful APIsDirect involvement in the design and operation of large scale cloud servicesExperience with the entire software development lifecycle, including version control (Git), continuous integration, testing, and code releaseStrong organizational, problem-solving skills, and can-do attitudeFluency in EnglishPreferredExperience in highly secured distributed systems Agile and Test-driven development methodologiesExperience with application telemetry, monitoring/observability practicesAbility to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, prioritize your work and manage your timeA passion for learning new software technologies and for sharing knowledgeRecord on experience shipping successful productsExperience in Authentication & Authorization schemas (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect)Open to Front End Development preferably in React (Javascript and other front-end framework are accepted)Experience working with Azure DevOps and building and deploying microservicesExperience in Front End Development, experience working with ReactLife at DocusignWorking hereDocusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
