ASIC Design Engineer

ASIC DESIGN ENGINEER for a Pre-IPO High-speed Semiconductor company – Dortmund (hybrid working)

An innovative leader in high-speed and energy-efficient chip-chip communication solutions is looking for an ASIC Design Engineer to join their team.

As part of the role, you will be required to participate in the definition of block-level specifications of high-speed digital circuits that meet key performance targets based on system-level requirements. As well as the analysis and understanding of high-speed serial protocols (e.g., USB4, PCIe).

Key Skills:

• Strong technical background in the design of high-speed digital circuits.
• Advanced knowledge of high-speed and low-power design techniques.
• Strong RTL coding skills (SystemVerilog preferred).
• Knowledge of signal processing techniques is an advantage.
• Scripting (Python preferred)
• Understanding of verification methodologies, in particular UVM, is an advantage.
• Familiarity with high-speed serial protocols is highly desirable.
