As most of these services are delivered by a partner, the mission is focused on governance, as well as managing the remaining IT infrastructure delivery teams in Volvo.Application Infrastructure is part of the Application Services department within Infrastructure & Onsite Services. The mission of Application Infrastructure is to develop and govern the infrastructure services for applications while ensuring their delivery and usage. By that, Application Infrastructure contributes to Volvo Group competitiveness by delivering standardized and fit-for-purpose infrastructure services, maintaining a balance between time to market, cost, and quality.The Application Infrastructure organization is divided into three functions/teams:Application Hosting – application hosting platforms and services for Mainframe, IBMi, VMS, .NET, Java, Storage, X86 hardware, SAP Infrastructure, Cloud application hosting servicesIntegration & BI - platforms and infrastructure services for integration, EDI (on premise & cloud) and Business Intelligence (on premise)Shared Cloud Infrastructure – the common cloud layer in order to be able to offer and expose services from Group D&IT appointed public cloud providersApplication Hosting is now looking for a Service Leader of X86 hardware and SAP infrastructure area.We are looking for a Service Leader to join our governance and operation of the application hosting services offered to the Volvo Group. In this role, you will have the end-to-end responsibility of the X86 hardware and SAP infrastructure services.You will work closely with the other Service Leaders of the application hosting sub-portfolios to ensure that all services are delivered according to contracted supplier obligations.Key responsibilities include:Manage the full lifecycle of X86 hardware and SAP infrastructure servicesPropose the policies and directives, strategic directions, long-term plan, and roadmaps for those servicesBe the subject matter expert for those services in interaction towards Volvo, supplier, and other stakeholdersFocus on service strategy and service design: drive innovation and lead the development of services based on prioritized business requirements.Continuously promote the service offerings to optimize their usage and deliver maximum value to the business while fostering open communication channels to actively listen to service user feedback to enhance existing services and inform future developments.Manage the content of the X86 hardware and SAP infrastructure services catalogue and deliveries, in order to optimize the partner deliveries and the cost of the services for Volvo, as well as continual improvement of the usability and ease of selection, of ordering, and of implementation of the services.Secure input to contractual negotiations to modify, clarify or optimize the services provided by the main supplier and potentially with sub-suppliers or other direct Volvo suppliers.Monitor the actual services levels, control that they are in line with targeted service levels and manage corrective actions with the supplier.Participate in selected runtime process interactions with the supplier: releases and deployments oversight, handling escalations regarding owned services.Commercially responsible for services delivered by the supplier, which includes both budgeting and follow-up, notably approving all service volumes invoiced by the supplier.This is how you can make an impact:You will work together with highly skilled colleagues in an exciting, global environment.
