This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with top-tier brands and bring visually compelling narratives to life.Learn more about us:Website: www.slate-nyc.comInstagram: Slate Studios InstagramPosition: Freelance Photo Art DirectorKey Responsibilities:Lead the creative direction and visual storytelling for luxury fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands.Develop moodboards and creative concepts that capture the essence of high-end clients and ensure alignment with their brand identity.Collaborate closely with creative teams, including photographers, stylists, and makeup artists, to execute visually cohesive and captivating shoots.Oversee the end-to-end creative process, from concept ideation to final execution, ensuring the highest quality in all deliverables.Present visual concepts to clients, incorporate feedback, and adjust the visual strategy to align with their vision.Ensure consistency across various platforms (web, social media, print) to maintain the integrity of the brand’s visual identity.Stay ahead of luxury fashion and beauty trends in Paris and globally, incorporating these insights into creative projects.Work in tandem with the production team to ensure the seamless execution of photoshoots and other visual projects.Qualifications:2+ years of experience as a Photo Art Director or Art Director in the luxury fashion, beauty, or lifestyle sectors.A strong portfolio showcasing your work with high-end brands, moodboards, and creative concepts that reflect a deep understanding of luxury aesthetics.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.Demonstrated experience in creating visual concepts and collaborating with a diverse range of creatives to bring ideas to life.Strong understanding of luxury branding, with expertise in typography, composition, and color theory specific to fashion and beauty.Familiarity with the Parisian fashion and beauty scene and ability to reflect these influences in your creative direction.Excellent communication skills and the ability to present ideas and receive feedback effectively.Ability to manage multiple freelance projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.Why Join Us?At Slate Studios, we prioritize creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
