Wireless BMS System Architect (f/m/d)

Position Overview:As the wireless BMS system architect, you will be responsible for driving the functionality, requirements and architecture definition, supervising the implementation and coordinating potential customizations of a wireless BMS solution. You will be the main interface with potential development partners and align internal and external development work. The focus of the architecture work will be mostly on system and Functional Safety level, but will also include elements of the protocol and software architecture. You will be directly interfacing with lead customers, marketing, product definers, software architects and developers and validation engineers.Job Responsibilities:Drives wireless requirements and architecture definitionCoordinates simulation, modeling and development work for the wireless architectureClosely works with software architects and ensures good alignment between wired and wireless architecturesSupports the product definition for the wireless BMS portfolioDevelops deep understanding of future wireless requirements, system architectures and use casesDevelops top to bottom architecture view of the relevant BMS software componentsSuccessfully builds relationships with customers, partners, marketing and development teams around the worldRepresents the NXP wireless approach and long term vision at customersQualifications:Education / studies: BSEE required, MSEE preferredAt least 10 years of experience in automotive system and software developmentExperience in systems and applications engineeringHighly experienced in wireless system simulation, RF and wireless protocol aspectsDeep understanding of the ISO26262 standard and functional safety requirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh degree of autonomy, self-motivation and business orientationExperience in working with car OEM’s and Tier1’sExperience in working in international and interdisciplinary teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English are requiredReadiness to travelBMS experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
