M&A Legal Counsel M/F

Description de poste: A need has arisen within the legal department in the company’s headquarters near Paris to recruit a M&A lawyer. Join our M&A Team (3 people), where you will report to and work under the direction of the Deputy General Counsel. You will have multiple interactions within Schneider Electric: you will work closely with the M&A execution team, as well as other cross-functional groups (sustainability team, consolidation, compliance, export control…). Your role: Management of M&A transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating non-disclosure agreements, letters of intent, term sheets, purchase agreements, and related ancillary transaction documents. Managing and performing legal due diligence as well as managing post-closing matters and disputes. You have: 8-10 years’ relevant experience in M&A transactions. Ideally, a large law firm experience. Strong drafting, negotiating and communications skills required, including the ability to spot key issues and to provide practical business-oriented advice. Ability to work effectively both in teams and independently, manage multiple projects at once, make effective decisions and collaborate with internal and external resources. Ability to prioritize, organize, and work under deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic and challenging environment. International mindset and experience of working across borders.
