You will be joining our web community at Dashlane with the mission to improve the frontend experience for both our customers and developers.Location:You will be based in Paris, with English as your working language. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with Tuesday being the company day, where we all collaborate in the office and have a company-sponsored meal, a department day for team bonding (will be Thursday for your department), and a third day at your choice. We offer relocation support (national and international).Responsibilities:Work very closely with web engineers and designers in a highly collaborative environment.Become an active voice of the UX Architecture Group.Bring the long-term product vision to life by prototyping and testing UX patterns ahead of other engineers.Play an active role in the Platform Engineering domain, contributing your expertise and ideas to shape the future of our web platform, with a particular focus on frontend engineering practices.Contribute to the evolution of our design system.Improve the performance of our frontend and make it adaptable to evolving business requirements and technical challenges.Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to frontend best practices and coding standards.Drive initiatives to improve engineering processes, code quality, and overall system reliability.Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.Assess and implement new tools and practices that can positively impact our frontend engineering practices.Lead by example, promoting a culture of collaboration, transparency, and excellence within the engineering organization.Requirements:2+ years of experience driving the evolution and adoption of a design system.Strong understanding of front-end architecture and best practices, including component libraries, design systems, and responsive design.Experience working closely with UX/UI teams, turning designs into high-quality, performant code.Deep understanding of web accessibility standards, including WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications), and other relevant guidelines.Familiarity with W3C standards on design tokens.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Fluency in English.We're Also Looking For:You are someone who can operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams and multiple timezones, and navigate technical ambiguity with only high-level direction.You are highly collaborative and focused on building relationships across all departments.You are metrics-driven and have a keen interest in web developer experience.Easily build relationships with the different players in the tech area, at different levels of the organization.Track record of building and maintaining web products used by millions of users.You approach all your work with systems and scalability in mind.Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging at Dashlane:As a truly international company—founded in France and distributed across France, US, and Portugal—Dashlane thrives off diverse perspectives.
