Job Requirements / Description
Tasks and Responsibilities:Administration & Maintenance:Administer the ERA AWS Global Landing Zone and its components to ensure service requirements are met.Install, configure, maintain, operate, and upgrade various components of the AWS Global Landing Zone.Operational Support:Maintain the solution's operation in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs).Diagnose, investigate, and resolve issues affecting the solution, maintaining an incident database and knowledge base.Change Management:Plan and schedule implementations of changes to minimize disruption.Test planned upgrades or changes to the deployed solution.Collaboration:Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within the OPD Unit and with internal and external entities.Work with DevOps experts to automate management and maintenance of the solution.Security & Compliance:Comply with agency procedures to ensure the integrity and security of the solution.Education and Qualifications:Minimum of 6 years of relevant studies and/or experience post-secondary education.At least 4 years of professional IT experience covering the responsibilities outlined above.A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an AWS SysOps Administrator.AWS SysOps Administrator Associate certification is required.Additional certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS Security Specialty, and AWS Advanced Networking Specialty will be considered advantageous.Knowledge and Skills:AWS Proficiency:Expert knowledge of AWS services and tools.Good understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.Familiarity with AWS Management Console and AWS CLI.Networking & Architecture:Expert knowledge of AWS networking concepts and architectural requirements, including high availability and resilience strategies.Incident & Problem Management:Expertise in managing AWS-related incidents and conducting root cause analysis.Security Expertise:Good knowledge of security best practices for AWS infrastructure.Infrastructure Automation:Experience in building highly automated infrastructures on AWS.Operating Systems Administration:Proficient in administering Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.Development Methodologies:Knowledge of modern development and operations processes (DevOps).Understanding of microservices architectures and serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, ECS, EKS).Additional Skills (Advantageous):Familiarity with semantics, ontologies, linked data technologies, and Knowledge Graph Databases (e.g., Virtuoso).Cloud Technologies: AWS EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, EC2.Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS Cloud Development Kit.Version Control: GitLab, GitHub.Operating Systems: Linux (Ubuntu), Windows Servers.Integration: Azure AD for Authentication and Authorization.Database Management: Virtuoso DB. #J-18808-Ljbffr
