Job DescriptionFor our new Mid-Europe Cluster (France, Switzerland, Belgium and Luxemburg) we are currently hiring a:Director Marketing Mid - EuropeThis position can be based in Paris, Brussels or Lucerne and requires some travel to other countries in the cluster.The positionThis role is key to the success of the business within this new cluster to build synergies and entrepreneurial skills. The objective of this role is to orchestrate pharmaceutical and medical device marketing strategies to maximize financial profit. To enable the alignment of strategies between countries, and to ensure that resource allocation is consistent with strategies and available resources. Transparent collaboration is expected with the sales teams of each country in the cluster, and with all functions. You will also be responsible for aligning local strategies with global strategies and you will lead teams directly and be a role model in the conduct of business.You will allocate and prioritize promotional resources to activities with the highest economic return within the cluster and you will co-construct access strategies to protect the value of current and future product portfolios and integrate Digital and Data in the construction of product strategies to maximize investment efficiency. You will contribute actively to the cluster's strategic direction as a member of the cluster’s Leadership Team.ResponsibilitiesMaximize cluster P&LAs a P&L Owner, develop, maximize and optimizes the profit plan integrating customer plans for the product portfolio.With the Finance Department, prepare the long sales outlook, budget and submit them for approval.Define the resources required to implement the strategic plan and arbitrate on the allocation of the necessary financial and human resources.Draw up marketing and sales strategiesOrchestrate the development and implementation of common and country-specific marketing strategies.Federate multi-disciplinary teams around the construction and execution of the brand plan.Consolidate marketing insights based on trends and data to facilitate decision-making and co-develop market research with the sales operations team where necessary.Monitor the execution of marketing campaigns and measures their impact.Be the driving force behind the development of our promotional model and the priorities to be followed.Instill support for digital promotion channels in brand plans and execution.Represent business (including customer) and marketing needs at regional/ global meetings.Ensure compliance of all strategies with country regulations.Represent Organon to decision makers and KOLsDevelop professional relationships with stakeholders in the environment (scientific leaders, payers, patients...).Regularly meet with customers, identify their needs, identify potential new customers for the business, communicate their needs and represent the company to national/ regional leaders and advocate Organon's mission at external events.Co-construction of access strategiesWith the Market Access, Communications and Public Affairs Department and the Medical Department, participate in the co-construction of access strategies, and in protecting the value of the product portfolio.Work closely with market access teams to develop integrated marketing strategies that meet the pricing, reimbursement and market entry challenges specific to each country in the cluster.Work with market access teams to ensure that marketing materials and initiatives are aligned with access and pricing strategies, maximizing availability and effectiveness.Federation of management committee, sales and support team on marketing plansWith all sales and support functions, ensure team buy-in and alignment with defined strategies.Collaborate actively with each country sales representative to gather needs and align strategies for each country.Ensure that marketing, sales and financial plans are aligned and with the Supply Chain, ensure that sales forecasts match inventory supply plans.Business Development and product launchesCollaborate with cluster Business Development management, regional and global BD and global franchise teams to identify new product opportunities.Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful product launches and rapid market penetration.Challenge status quo and promotional model to identify future opportunities.Performance analysis and reportingMonitor and analyze marketing performance indicators, provide insights and recommendations to refine strategies and drive results.Prepare regular reports and executive summaries for senior management, highlight key achievements and areas for improvement.Manage and inspire the teamResponsible for the recruitment and successful integration of employees.Recognize and manage employee performance fairly and appropriately.Develop employees (individual priorities/development actions/training) around key competencies.Foster and maintain a positive team climate that fosters motivation and commitment and promote and implement work methods that encourage collaboration, autonomy and innovation within teams.LeadershipBe a driving force in exchanges, particularly with local, national and international governing bodies.Able to challenge the status quo and propose innovative business approaches.Stimulate collaboration between different areas of expertise to achieve and surpass business objectives.Ensure compliance with ethical rules and procedures specific to the laboratory and the pharmaceutical environment.Implement a new organization and develop an entrepreneurial cultureUse entrepreneurial skills to build synergies for this new cluster.Participate in the creation of a corporate culture based on transparency, dialogue and boldness.Define the company's strategic and operational vision and ensure that challenges and opportunities are clearly understood.Contribute to spreading an entrepreneurial culture.Set up a new organization, a new team and create the conditions for a successful launch.Required Education, Experience and SkillsMaster’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field of study.At least 8 years of successful experience in Marketing and Sales Management in the pharmaceutical and/ or healthcare Industry. Able to anticipate and interpret short- and medium-term changes in the pharmaceutical environment and adapt strategies and resources accordingly.Able to quickly assess the strategic impact of a decision and take corrective action quickly and able to manage priorities.Able to create a clear and motivating strategic vision based on customer focus, including patients, thanks to a good understanding of customer needs.Able to collaborate effectively with management and colleagues and put in place structures that facilitate efficient collaboration in the division.Able to communicate openly and transparently and create a climate conducive to this type of communication in the BU and the courage to promote change and knows how to take calculated risks and manage difficult situations.Able to make quick decisions and support their implementation.Able to pay close attention to the performance indicators that drive the organization, set clear objectives and make teams accountable for results, making customer needs the cornerstone of the vision.Strong oral and written communications skills in French and English. Other cluster language skills (f.e.
