With your help, EssenceMediaCom’s transformative approach will redefine communications, evolving the ways of the past and building on today to achieve new levels of excellence.The RoleAs a Global Media Agency, our responsibilities range from media planning and buying, digital communications innovation, education to Maisons, business planning, consumer insight, thought leadership, reporting, and market management.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the EssenceMediaCom account team and deliver international advertising campaigns and global partnerships through the planning and buying of digital media. The Digital Lead will help lead the ideation, creation, development, and execution of innovative marketing strategies and tactics at an international level.The Digital Lead will act as a representative of the digital department (digital strategy, tech, data, and digital operations) and EssenceMediaCom at all times.The role requires luxury sector knowledge to influence and guide the Maisons in making the best choices regarding partners and data solutions.Role ObjectivesAnnual digital strategy / guidelinesAlongside the Digital team and Maison Leads, craft the digital media strategy for the Maisons, combining a digital data insight approach, integrated digitally led communications approach, influence/opinion on execution, and how success will be measured.Develop a repository of digital best practices and frameworks and work with the wider team to ensure adherence and evolution across clients and markets.Digital integrationBe the lead on integration and understanding of digital within the wider media mix to ensure teams are well networked across the EssenceMediaCom business.Provide a digital overview to ensure consistency among all digital pillars (SEA and Paid Social, Display, and Video).Work with operational management teams running client relationships to ensure robust operational processes and workflows across digital media advertising campaigns in line with MediaCom internal processes and industry best practices.Highlight teamwork and client initiatives. Demonstrate examples of digital best practices to the wider team and contribute to department and wider agency PR and communications.Maintain relationships with partner agency GroupM Nexus and Display and Video specialist teams to build a consistent digital media approach and ensure delivery and quality control.Work closely with other media, tech, data, measurement, and creative teams to expand digital thinking.Collaborate with sister agencies in WPP Group to expand digital product offerings.CoordinationRegular communications on Teams with local EssenceMediaCom teams.Monthly digital calls with EM countries to share news, best practices, and processes.On-going communication about industry news and innovations.Ensure digital guidelines and framework are followed by the Maisons and our EssenceMediaCom locally.Define and monitor the annual digital productivity plan to highlight agency success in terms of digital effectiveness.Data & TechConsult with clients regarding tech and data stack and provide consultation on identifying and implementing technology.Develop tech and data roadmap including client workshop sessions with marketing, media, digital, eCommerce, and CRM leads.Accompany the Maisons to capitalize on data and partner capabilities.Leverage GroupM tool suite and data points to build relevant targeting and luxury customer insights.Candidate will demonstrateMinimum 10 years of experience in Digital Media, at an agency or consultancy.Fluency in French and business proficiency in English.Solid knowledge of key digital media principles and current digital trends and challenges.Exceptional client serving skills.Strong strategic thinker with a creative mindset.Luxury category expertise a plus.Articulate with good communication and pedagogical skills (verbal and written).Excellent numeric and analytical skills with the ability to translate statistics into insight and actions.Accuracy with great attention to detail.A team player comfortable with senior clients and colleagues worldwide.Organized and able to work well under pressure with the ability to manage and execute on multiple tasks.Willingness to manage, train, and grow a team of digital strategists, data, and analytics experts.Key Performance IndicatorsClient: Help grow the account, retain existing scopes, and achieve high client satisfaction scores.People: Identify and retain high-performing talent for the Digital function.Revenue: Contribute towards achieving revenue targets.Growth: Support future discipline and market growth.Personal development: Positive My360 feedback from manager, peers, and clients (where appropriate).EssenceMediaCom handles the media planning and buying for some of the world's smartest advertisers.
