• As Lead Engineer (m/f/d) of an agile interdisciplinary team, you will plan and coordinate the development and integration of cloud services for the Bundesbank
• Your focus will be on the implementation and configuration of the landing zone(s) in the public cloud, consisting of networks, gateways, load balancers, firewalls, storage, databases and (managed) services, with a focus on the highest possible level of automation
• They also support other teams in the migration of workloads to the public cloud and play a key role in the operation of public cloud services
• To fulfill your tasks, you coordinate within the team as well as with other internal and external experts
• You will increasingly use agile working methods and approaches to carry out your tasks

Your qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a subject relevant to the position (e.G. computer science, software engineering)
• Very good knowledge and many years of experience in IT engineering
• Very good knowledge and several years of experience in planning and providing services in cloud environments (e.G. with landing zones)
• Very good knowledge and several years of experience in the operation of IT infrastructure products
• Very good knowledge and many years of experience in the management and design of ITIL processes
• Good knowledge of and experience with modern infrastructure and system deployment concepts (CI/CD environments), container platforms and various cloud models
• Good knowledge of the integration of interfaces to IT infrastructure, applications, internal management systems and external sources
• Good knowledge and experience in the automation of tasks (e.G. with the help of Terraform or Ansible)
• Good knowledge of and experience with a cloud service provider, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of agile methods in IT engineering (e.G. DevOps) and experience in agile development structures
• Good written and spoken English language skills
• High level of commitment and good work organization
• Good analytical and conceptual skills
• Ability to work in a team
