For our IT service provider Nord Ost West Informationstechnik GmbH (NOW IT GmbH), Deutsche Rentenversicherung Rheinland is looking for a member of the Infrastructure Services division for the Competence Center (KC) Printing, Carrier Printing team at the Düsseldorf site at the earliest possible date.
Machine Operator Printing Machines (f/m/d)in shift work.
The printing competence center and the carrier printing team are responsible for the production of all central and in-house print outputs. All production machines are operated, monitored and maintained. In addition to the high-performance printing and inserting machines, machines for individual printing and the processing of print products such as magazines, posters etc. are operated with the corresponding finishing systems (binding machines etc.).
The job is carried out in a two-shift system.
As a machine operator, your tasks will include the following:- Highly efficient production of printed products
- Creation of individual print templates
- Coordination of order management
- Planning and production of print jobs incl. coordination of specifications
- Taking measures to control production, taking into account the SLAs
- Quantities and format calculation
- Creation of accessible prints and media
- Ensuring the production and operational readiness of production systems
You have completed training as a media technologist in printing/print processing or in a comparable profession. Alternatively, you have many years of relevant professional experience.
You should also have the following specialist knowledge:- Sound PC knowledge
- Sound knowledge of machine operation and programming
- In-depth knowledge of the use and adjustment of laser technology
- In-depth knowledge of print preparation and shipment tracking
- Practical experience in dealing with job control systems
- Knowledge of bookbinding
In terms of personal requirements, you ideally have a high degree of customer and service orientation. We also expect conceptual and analytical skills and an independent way of working. Ideally, your strengths include the ability to work in a team, flexibility and resilience, as well as a high level of commitment. Continuous further training and independent familiarization with new subject areas are just as desirable as a willingness to travel on business. Good verbal and written communication skills in German round off your profile.
