Client Relationship Managers (CRMs) are key contributors to the growth of Cognizant’s business. They support the Client Partner and act as business owners for assigned accounts, managing the day-to-day activities and P&L of these accounts. They proactively identify new opportunities on accounts and plan for and close the extension of existing agreements. The CRM works with delivery teams to maximize backlog, optimizing the resource mix and navigating scope changes to ensure client expectations are met. They work towards establishing a positive client experience through delivery excellence. This role is a high visibility and challenging opportunity and requires a high amount of commitment, business acumen, leadership qualities, and a motivated attitude to perform well. We are looking for a senior account leader with digital and domain experience in the Technology industry to work with a platinum client within Life Science. Key Responsibilities Create and manage a pipeline of new and expansion opportunities across the account. Develop impactful and trusted consultative relationships with targeted executives. Bring domain knowledge, understand client’s business and deliver business outcomes. Collaborate with various internal teams to provide thought leadership with key client stakeholders. Be a customer advocate to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction across the customer digital journey. Responsible for Backlog growth - Existing projects + Renewals/Extensions + Rate Revisions. Drive RFP response & proactive proposals to deliver high win rates. Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the clients. Define and improve the go-to-market plans, offerings and value propositions. Build strong internal relationships with Cognizant’s vertical BU Heads, offshore Delivery, Service Line Specialist and other key team members. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. 10+ years of sales experience in consultative selling in the Services industry with experience in a client-facing role in a consulting firm or an account/engagement management role in the IT professional services offshore/outsourcing industry. Demonstrated track record in establishing relationships with key client stakeholders. Track record of developing and closing new business with IT and business buyers. Experience in connecting global multi-disciplinary teams, partners, and alliances across the customer lifecycle. Understands a broad range of technologies; keeps up to date with market and technology trends. Ability to drive winning proposals spanning multiple service lines. Proactive deal creation/solution development experience. Experience managing an account portfolio of $10+ million including reporting and key performance metrics. Preferred Qualifications Proven ability to contribute to new business development efforts and to lead and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Demonstrable problem-solving abilities with the aptitude to identify strategic solutions to business problems with enterprise-wide implications. Demonstrate the flexibility to work among diverse corporate environments, industries, and technical and non-technical audiences.
