As Purchasing Head of Electromobility (Emob) Projects, you are in charge of the introduction in our European plants of all electromobility new products or product modifications through the intro-blocks (IB). Your responsibility is to cover the complete vehicle introduction, and as such, you represent GTP in the specific electromobility stream governance as well as selected Technology Streams.You are leading a department gathering Project Managers Purchasing (PMP). You act as the GTP owner of the electromobility project portfolio as well as the EEE Vehicle Development Teams – and support GTP preparation in front of the Product governance up to Product Board. You actively support the Global roll-out & successful implementation of the new way of working in streams (vehicle and technology stream) by securing the right cross-functional interfaces, securing GTP deliverables and positions.Main Responsibilities:Be a member in Supply Network Resiliency & Project Management (SNR&PM) Purchasing Leadership team and contribute to the development of the departmentBe a member of the Emob Purchasing Leadership Team and contribute to the fulfillment of the delivery of Emob Purchasing objectivesRepresent Volvo Group Purchasing in selected product governance bodies (such as Electric Propulsion Committee) upon requestSupport preparation and report the Emob related product portfolio in front of GTX Heads & EVP sessions and Product BoardRepresent Volvo Group Purchasing Emob in cross-functional project meetings and secure needed communication with cross-functional teamsContribute to Product Roadmap providing Volvo Group Purchasing inputs (Brands, GTX)Drive the deployment of Extended Commodity Management Teams as a mechanism for securing full alignment between Emob Commodities segment strategies and business plansSecure proper communication and knowledge of the IB management within Volvo Group PurchasingSecure needed communication within the streams and communication within purchasingSecure that the project requirements are transferred to the purchasing teams through the sourcing plansSecure set targets and KPI fulfilment for the Purchasing Project organizationCoordinate purchasing QDCF-TSR deliverables according to planManage the development of staffSecure and Manage resources within his/her areaResponsible for the budget & operating expensesWork in accordance with the Volvo processes, the Code of Conduct and the Volvo Values.Sign off Final Development Contracts on behalf of purchasing for his/her area of responsibilityWho are you?
