Company DescriptionNestled in a natural environment between sandy mountains and deep blue seas is Mövenpick Resort El Quseir. 250 rooms Built in traditional Nubian style operated with collaborative, friendly & ambitious teamwork.Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.Job DescriptionWe’re on the lookout for a Shift Engineer to handle all the maintenance issues around our hotel, making sure our guests stay safe and comfortable.What you’ll do…· Responsible for maintenance issues within the hotel· Perform daily checks around the hotel.· Conduct lift emergency release procedures as required.· Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment within the hotel.· Ensure good relationships are built with internal and external customers.· Maintenance of all hotel fixtures and fittings to ensure they are in safe condition and act when any unsafe situations arise.· Develop, implement, and direct all emergency programs.· Develop, implement, and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses.· Coordinate renovation bidding, define the cost and scope of the project, and oversee the general contractor and subcontractors to ensure quality work is performed cost effectively.QualificationsWhat we’re looking for…A Bachelor degree of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is a must.At least 2 years of related work experience.Arabic Native Language & Good command of English is mandatory.Know your way around Health and Safety in the workplace.Having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience.Humble and open to new ideas.Doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once.You will be required to work flexible shift patterns which will include weekdays and weekends to supportAdditional InformationWe are far more than a worldwide leader.
