Site Reliability Engineer H/F

Objectives of this roleAs part of the Group Datalayer team within the Digital Business Platforms department, and reporting to the Datalayer Service Manager, you will ensure that the whole stack delivers the expected service with the right SLA.Working closely with the Operations team, you will run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system healthYou will improve the reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions that make up the Datalayer stackYou will measure and optimise system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating for continual improvementYou provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large-scale distributed software applicationsYou will provide technical oversight and ensure that the Datalayer stack is state of the art and follows all best practices.ResponsibilitiesYou will work with the Operations team to help build the automation processes for installing, updating, upgrading and scaling the Datalayer stack.Help collect and interpret metrics from applications to support performance tuning and troubleshootingYou will improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures using the Group DevSecOps framework.Participate in system design consulting, platform management and capacity planningCreate sustainable systems and services through automation and upliftsYou have FinOps acculturation and intend to make the best choice at the better costRequired skills and qualificationsYou have a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related disciplineyou have experience with modern data stack and data platformYou are an IaC and automation evangelistYou have the ability to program using one or more high-level languages, such as Python, Yaml, Ansible & Terraform (Scala & SQL as a bonus)Ideally, you have experience with distributed storage technologies such as Cloudera, Starburst, Dataiku, Kafka, Confluent, Hive, or Spark, as well as dynamic resource management frameworks (Apache Mesos, Kubernetes, Yarn)Understand public cloud concepts, as our Datalayer is hosted on hyperscalersYou have a proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement100BAC+4 / MAITRISE / MASTER(1)Langues #J-18808-Ljbffr
