Join a dynamic finance team on a mission to deliver outstanding results across a range of project accounting workstreams - from project set-up and performance reviews to working capital optimisation and change management.You will join a diverse team of 8 finance professionals and report to our Project Accounting Manager. In the immediate run, we would like you to support the team with:Project set-up - you will leverage your exceptional attention to detail in ensuring that all relevant details, such as budgets, are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.Periodic project reviews - as a master stakeholder manager you will engage with the delivery teams to monitor the financial health of projects by assessing progress against milestones and budgets, identifying early warning signs and resolving challenges swiftly with the help of ERM colleagues as well as external counterparts.Detailed analysis of profitability metrics (project costs vs budgets, etc).Periodic management of variances.Client invoicing and support with collections and related queries.Support the local team and Group with the annual audit.As you develop your skills, learn our business, and establish solid (internal and external) working relationships we will also expect you to:Drive the efforts to optimise our working capital position by engaging with the business at the proposal stage, exploring opportunities to streamline billing and collections workflows, development of tools and trackers, and other initiatives.Continuously review and explore opportunities to streamline our processes (for instance, we strive to automate manual processes so that our team can spend their time on truly value-adding tasks).Contribute to the annual audit process as well as ad-hoc projects (for instance, implementation of new financial management tools, etc).This is a high-visibility role and the value you create within your local team has the potential to be recognised and amplified across the wider European region.Desired skillsQualified/part-qualified accountant.Exceptional attention to detail.Integrity.Ability to work autonomously and within a team setting.Advanced Excel skills.Advanced English.About UsAt ERM, sustainability is our business.We are the world’s largest advisory firm focused solely on sustainability, offering unparalleled expertise across business and finance.ERM partners with clients to operationalize sustainability at pace and scale, through our unique combination of strategic transformation and technical delivery capabilities.Our diverse global team of experts works with the world’s leading organizations to help them set clear sustainability targets, measure progress and operationalize strategy through deep implementation and business transformation.With more than 50 years of experience, our ability to integrate sustainability solutions and our depth and breadth of technical knowledge are why organizations choose to partner with us as their trusted advisor.Every one of us firmly believes in the potential to create value for our clients through an integrated approach to sustainability (because we have personally seen it and professionally achieved it).Our team members are passionate about client service.
