CDI - Europe Category Director (F/H/X)

Every day, our teams across the world bring to life our purpose and values.The position is based in Neuilly-sur-Seine.Position OverviewThe Europe Category Director will be responsible for developing and executing regional offer strategies that drive the category sales growth and enhance brands presence across all stores in the designated region. This individual will co-own P&L management with countries and hubs (In Europe, 900 stores and 8 hubs/18 countries), lead a team of Category Managers to ensure that product assortments meet customer demands and align with Sephora’s ambition to propose a unique omnichannel client experience.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:Building omnichannel strategy on brands portfolio and coordinating its implementation among Europe region.Monitoring of budget, assortments, merchandising updates, forecasting, stocks and sales analysis.Definition of 360 Marketing plans for key launches: media and social media, trade marketing, e-store, CRM, training, sampling in close collaboration with the marketing teams.Close partnership with brands on their strategy, products developments, commercial terms (marketing investments, NIP, purchase prices, returns, space allocation, promotional means).Sourcing of new brands to cover white spots in our assortment and strengthen SEPHORA’s leadership on the categories, business plan elaboration and coordination of the full omnichannel launch.Definition of category priorities and roadmap on all touch points in close collaboration with internal departments.Management of transversal projects: trade, assortment, internal events, premium offer, others.Solid experience in yearly negotiations with brands.Implementation and monitoring of processes for the purpose of alignment between countries and the establishment of common ways of working across countries.Management of a team of category brands directors, group managers and category managers.QualificationsDo not hesitate to apply if you have… or if you are …Strategic thinking capacity paired with analytical abilities for data-driven decision-making.Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal; ability to influence cross-functional teams.+15 years of experience in Beauty industry or multi brands retail with P&L accountability.A passion for beauty products.Strong leadership capability with excellent people management skills.Why Join Sephora?While at Sephora, you’ll enjoy…The people.
