Manager, DevOps & Platform Engineering for ReservationJob Title: Manager, DevOps & Platform Engineering for ReservationSummary of the Role:Reservation is the beating heart of many Amadeus products and this position is an opportunity to address the company's technology challenges: Cloud, FinOps, Cyber-security.You will manage the team responsible for providing Platform and DevOps services to the Reservation organizations: Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, tooling. Efficiency, usability, engineering experience, reliability, and support are the values of the team towards our internal customers.You will also actively participate in SAFe Product Owner and Team Coach activities, following a Kanban setup. Collaboration with central Reservation teams and stakeholders is essential.Management and Engagement / Team Coach:Lead a team of top profiles driving toolchain evolutions, providing consulting and tools, and managing the Reservation platform (Kubernetes clusters, Kafka, Datastores).The team spans across Amadeus locations with members in France (both in Villeneuve-Loubet and remote) and Germany.The team follows a Kanban setup, and you will ensure Agile mindset and practices.Build/manage the team fostering a collaborative work environment that promotes innovation and empowerment.Develop the team based on continuous assessment.Motivate and guide individual team members to stretch and expand their own capabilities (know-how, behavior, communication, etc.).Define team objectives and translate them into individual objectives for each team member in line with organizational goals.Evaluate team and individual performance and provide input for salary reviews.Perform interviews to recruit relevant profiles and ensure maintaining team spirit.Support and organize SAFe ceremonies.Product Owner:Define and share the technical/functional team roadmap and vision with input from team members.Work with the System Architect and Product Manager of the ART.Have a mid/long-term vision of the activity, influencing the department's strategy based on a broad understanding of the environment.Report on team activities.Follow ART SAFe JIRA conventions.Be accountable for the performance and results of a unit within own discipline or function.Develop plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.Suggest alternatives/improvements/new techniques in processes, flows, operational models, and plans.Collaboration & Communication:Collaborate with other teams, stakeholders, and different profiles.Ensure timely and appropriate communication to team members regarding company/organization information.Ensure timely and appropriate communication outside the team as well.Technical Excellence:Several years of work experience and familiarity with Amadeus technologies (Cloud, OBE) is a plus.Working at Amadeus, you will find:A critical mission and purpose: At Amadeus, you will be powering the future of travel and pursuing a critical mission and extraordinary purpose.A truly global DNA: Everything at Amadeus is global, from our people to our business, which translates into our footprint, processes, and culture.Great opportunities to learn: Learning happens all the time and in many ways at Amadeus, through on-the-job training, formal learning activities, and day-to-day interactions with colleagues.A caring environment: Amadeus fosters a caring environment, nurturing both a fulfilling career and personal and family life.
