The Opportunity: You will be at the forefront of launching our new asset within the Ophthalmology Unit of the Established Markets Commercial sector. Your role will be crucial, and this position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Astellas in the French ophthalmology market, positioning the company as a trusted partner among healthcare professionals and patients alike. As a leader of the national sales team, directly reporting to the French Market Business Unite Head of Ophthalmology, your responsibilities will be multifaceted and dynamic. You will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, regulatory bodies, and industry partners. Responsibilities: Prepare the launch of our new ophthalmology drug using a Key Account Management (KAM) approach tailored to customer needs. Lead the national sales team for the product, developing individuals into high-performing teams to sustain business performance. Actively shape brand strategy in collaboration with brand team members, ensuring excellent sales execution to meet sales targets. Define and implement the Sales Strategy to position Astellas as a trusted Ophthalmology Partner in the market. Provide leadership and motivation to the national sales team in the assigned indication field and be an active member of the cross-functional team (marketing and medical). Essential Knowledge & Experience: Proficiency in Charte DMOS regulations and compliance. Proven experience in leading sales teams. Enthusiastic about launching a new product line. Good knowledge of the retina space and KEE network. Preferred Experience: Analytical mindset and attention to detail. Entrepreneurial mindset to lead a team. Customer orientation. Willingness to innovate. English fluency for presentations and congresses. Education: Master’s degree or equivalent Additional information: A diversified job in an international setting. This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 2 days per week in our Levallois-Perret office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
