System Integration Engineer

Outsight’s software solutions track the motion of people and vehicles using 3D LiDAR data.Operators of transportation hubs like airports and train stations but also sport venues, road infrastructures and industrial sites can now access accurate and anonymous Spatial Intelligence data, in order to improve operations and increase user safety and satisfaction.Our international team of scientists and engineers drive the development of our solutions from Paris, San Francisco, and Sophia-Antipolis (Nice). To support our global outreach, we also operate commercial offices in the UK, Belgium, Spain, Hong Kong, and Singapore.Position OverviewOutsight SHIFT Software stack offers a large panel of features to provide real-time tracking of persons, vehicles or other objects in various environments. The solution is highly flexible and can be deployed in a wide range of infrastructures, from a single unit to very large-scale multi-clusters spread over several servers or Cloud instances.The position consists of the design, implementation, execution and debug of system integration phase of the Outsight state-of-the-art algorithms and real-time solutions against customers scenarios and environments to allow reaching high performance and reliability levels.What will be your responsibilities?Implement and validate Outsight's algorithms, transforming models into real-time solutions in collaboration with our software and product teams.Create and execute comprehensive system integration test plans, including the development of specialized tools and testing environments.Resolve issues identified during testing in partnership with customer support and software development teams.Achieve and maintain a high level of test coverage across all solutions.Support deployment and customer teams both remotely and in-person.Guide junior engineers in technical integration tasks.What are the requirements for the role?Proven ability to dissect and resolve complex software interactions and system issues.Demonstrated experience in software system analysis, problem-solving, and progress reporting.Self-driven with a results-focused approach.Holds an Engineering degree and has at least 5 years of experience in embedded systems.Familiar with QA processes (test plans, reports) and issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).Proficient in networking and communication protocols (Ethernet, UDP/TCP/IP).Skilled in Python, C/C++, GIT, and Linux administration.Experience with Kubernetes/docker is essential.Must possess outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal.Why join us?A fast-growing leader in the burgeoning field of 3D Edge AI software (73 patents filed, many customers all around the world), awarded the 2023 Edge AI and Vision Product of the Year, among many others.The opportunity to work in an international start-up on the rise with significant resources and high growth, working with dynamic, experienced and multidisciplinary teams.A position in which you can grow quickly and express your creativity & potential.Working with visionary and passionate management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
