International Billing Specialist - Paris

The International Billing Specialist Role ? Monthly billing process (customer payment allocation, discount, refund, orders application in DM systems and tools) ? Update customers data ? Cash collection and customer’s payment follow up ? Manage customers’ requests ? Litigation follow-up with Customer Service and Sales ? Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes, working closely with internal departments and external clients to reach satisfactory resolutions. ? Transverse projects linked to system integration and/or migration, cleaning databases, documentation ? Ensure compliance with international invoicing regulations, tax laws, and customs requirements for each country ? Mentor and provide guidance to junior billing specialists, offering support, training, and expertise in international billing processes and regulatory compliance ? Identify opportunities to improve international invoicing processes ? Propose and implement solutions to optimize billing efficiency and accuracy ? Automate processes where possible to increase efficiency You will be successful in this role if you have/are ? Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field ? Fluent verbal and written English and French ? Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role, with a focus on international billing processes. ? Proficient in using billing software and financial systems (NetSuite, Salesforce) and Excel Knowledge ? Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail ? Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and external stakeholders ? Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment ? Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and handle a high volume of billing transactions ? Strong expertise in international invoicing regulations, tax laws, and customs requirements across multiple countries and regions The above is not an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the job.
