Field Application Engineer

Technical expert sought for embedded systems in safety-critical industries. Experience with Functional Safety standards and software development required.

IC Resources is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to join a global leader in software applications.

As a Field Applications Engineer, you will provide technical support to customers across various industries, including Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Medical and other safety-critical industries.

You will own the full product line for quality assurance products and provide technical presentations, demonstrations, and product evaluations for embedded systems.

This role will cover the whole of EMEA, requiring flexibility to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the full product line for quality assurance products.
• Provide technical presentations, demonstrations, and product evaluations for embedded systems.
• Provide technical support to customers across various industries.
• Travel up to 20% across EMEA.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject matter.
• Previous experience working on Embedded Software (mainly C/C++) as well as Python or similar.
• Experience with safety standards such as ISO26262 or IEC62304.
• Exposure to tools such as CMake, BitBake, Bazel etc.
• Excellent knowledge of software Functional Safety standards.
